The room was freezing cold, and we could not set the thermostat above 24C to bring the temperature up. We complained at the front desk and got no support and no resolution. They claimed it was impossible to set the thermostats higher due to fire codes. They promised the manager would call us, but they didn't. We tried to get in touch with the manager, but our calls were ignored. We had to keep all the lights on and run the TVs while we weren't in the room just to keep it somewhat livable. Highly dissatisfying.
Always a great experience. Such friendly helpful staff. It seems they can't do enough for us. They feel like family. Rooms are ultra clean, and very comfortable. We were offered delicious chocolate cookies upon arrival which really hit the spot. The morning free breakfast is more than ample and my husband loves the pancakes. We really love the convenience of this hotel to the airport. I do not know who hired these people, but they need to be commended for their choices. Special mention for the young man and the young lady who checked us in at 4:30 pm on Friday may 4 2018. Also Darrel the van driver who picked us up at the airport. Very friendly.
Great hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. 24/7/365 shuttle to/from airport was extremely convenient and driver (Larry) was great. Pool and hot tub clean and nice. Hotel and room very clean. Loved that coffee, tea, and cookies that were always available in the lobby. Breakfast was good every morning and consistently being replenished. Great experience.
Check in was slow as we booked over the phone and their reservation center made the reservation in the wrong hotel and wrong province. Front desk staff figured out the problem though and upgraded our room at no charge without us asking which was much appreciated. Hotel is modern, clean and quiet. Room was spacious and well appointed, only critique is it was a little sterile in style but tasteful. Complimentary breakfast was very good and checkout was a breeze. Location itself is convenient but it is off the main road and the entrance is not well marked.
Although all the employees were polite, we had to call twice for extra sheets and towels. Even then, only sheets were brought up. It took around 45 min to get what we needed. I ended up going downstairs for something else and it wasn't busy at the desk. Receptionist was friendly though I'd rate the breakfast 2 out of 5. The sausage patties were extremely dry, the eggs were undercooked at the point of being slimy. We paid 185$ for a one night stay. I would probably not return to this hotel.
