We have been recently doing some small reno jobs around the house and have made several attempts to buy from this locally owned home hardware however, each trip resulted in having to visit another hardware store because they were out of stock or just didn't carry the products at all.
Went in to buy an item and found the last one which happened to be 30% off. However, when at the cash, the item was scanned and the discounted price was not what came up. The cashier, who was extremely friendly, was shown the sale sticker on the rack. After looking at it closer, the sale end date which was in tiny little letters, stated that the sale was done two days ago. Without hesitation, she honoured the discount. I found what I needed and got the sale price indicated.

I have been going there for years and I have always received excellent customer service which reminds me of what you'd receive in a small village.I like that they employ teenagers as well and I've received very good service from anyone I've encountered.The prices are reasonable and they'll find the product you're looking for if you ask them.
Feels like travelling back in time, you can easily find people working on the floor and they are friendly/helpful.
